NSW State Solos
The weather was bright & hot (factor 30+), The Scots College Pipes & Drums Association were kept very busy supplying soft drinks, tea, coffee & water, watermelon, cakes & the barbeque. Thank goodness a breeze was blowing off the harbour to keep everyone a few degrees cooler.
Thank you to all competitors & their families who travelled from near & far (Warwick in QLD, Tamworth, Lithgow, Bathurst, Canberra, Newcastle & areas between) to help make a great State Solo Championship for NSW .
Thank you also to Ray Lee from Scots College who was there bright & early to open the premises & organise the platform shelters & then lock everything up at the end & also to Vicky Lindsay from Manly Warringah Pipe Band who volunteered to help collect & collate the results.
